In addition, assistance is provided in short-term and long-term goal setting with emphasis on realistic expectations of the patients’ desires and abilities. This often includes returning to educational pursuits or job training. We assist with resume creation and the interviewing process. Discharge planning is an important part of the treatment process as well. We introduce realistic options with family involvement where appropriate.
